TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. RATES

Design and labour time is charged at $40 an hour + gst. Design time includes research, conception, developement, production, preparing files for print, and travel to suppliers.

2. PAYMENT

Itemised invoices willl be sent out in the post or via email. Invoices are paybale by the 20th of the following month.

3. PRINTING

DeFINE deSIGN uses a specific printer. The client may choose to source thir own print company but deFINE deSIGN is not liable should the client be dissatisfied with the quality of the print work.

4. COPYRIGHT

All work produced by deFINE deSIGN is protected under the laws of copyright, and is owned by deFINE deSIGN untill full payment is recieved. At this time ownership passes over to the client, as does the responsibility to protect their image and brand identity.

5. QUOTATIONS

Quotations are only for work according to original specifications. If, through the buyers error, or omission, work has to be redone or alterations, or additions to specifications are required, then deFINE deSIGN may make an additional charge. If work is suspended or cancelled by the buyer, then deFINE deSIGN may immediately require the buyer to pay for work done to the date of cancellation or suspension.

DeFINE deSIGN reserves the right not to undertake any work which in its opinion is unlawful, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.

A quotation, unless previously withdrawn is valid only up to 90 days from the date it is given, unless otherwise specifically stated on the form. Following this, a new quotation will be required.

6. RISK AND TITLE

Risk in goods will pass directly to the buyer immediately upon delivery. DeFINE deSIGN will not be responsible for loss or damage to goods in transit.Where the buyer supplies plans, specifications, plant, goods and materials of any kind, these shall be held by deFINE deSIGN at the buyers risk. Whilst all care will be taken by deFINE deSIGN, no responsiblity is accepted for any damage to materials during such a time.
